In the palm of God’s hand

WINNER , Biography Of The Year, Christian Book Awards 2002

‘Sharing a diary like this is about more than baring your soul. It’s like taking your clothes off in public in mid-January and asking passers by to throw snowballs at you. Not something you would do unless you hoped an awful lot of good would come out of it.

But here I am doing it (sharing the diary that is-I’m too much of a coward to attempt the illustration!) So I must believe in the good.’

Wendy’s prayer diary testifies how personal faith can transform the hardest of times, and how God’s love and mercy break through, no matter how tough the situation. It is filled with laughter, pain, joy and hope. But most of all it is filled with the essence of God’s love.
